All components attach to each other without the use of loose fasteners for quick and easy installation. The parts are designed to fit snugly to each other, providing maximum strength and durability. Businesses can also mix and match components to suit standard and heavy-duty usage.
Shelving units can be purchased on this website in preconfigured kits. This includes most components needed for a standard shelving system. However, particle board and metal decking are sold separately. Decking options are discussed below.
Particle Boards and Decking for Rivetwell Boltless Shelving Units
Rivetwell shelving units can use particle board decking or two types of metal decking (flat wire decking and E-Z Steel decking). All options are available in various sizes.
Particle Board and EZ-Deck Steel Decking

Particle Board Decking
Rivetwell Particle Boards are 5/8" thick and made from industrial grade type 1-M-2 wood. Available in a light brown/tan color.
EZ-Deck Steel Decking
EZ-Deck steel decking is made from 22 gauge galvanized sheet steel, fabricated in 6” deep channel planks. Multiple planks form each level to meet unit depth (for 15” deep units, two 7-1/" deep planks will be delivered).
NOTE: EZ-Deck is for use with double rivet units only. It must be center-supported on units 48” wide and wider.
Flat Wire Decking
Rivetwell flat wire decking consists of a four gauge wire in a 2” x 4” pattern. All wire decks are powder coated gray.
